Hi everybody

Today was my last day!

I really enjoyed my last day, we changed with Ciara the shop window to prepare the sale! We put a lot of fabrics in the shop and a customer came because she is interesting by a fabric in this shop window!
So I appreciate this last day and John took us to a restaurant it was veryyyyyyyyy good! Moreover John and Ciara offered me fabrics and letters! I was happy and very grateful!
That's why I would like to say THANKS to this company and to the people in this company, for their patiente, their kindness and their help!
I will never forget all the things that I learned and how much John, Ciara, Donatella and the others helped me!

Today we went to Trinity college to deliver the carpets!
It was the really lovely in the hall!

Later we went in Dublin 8 to see what Auction shops propose in Fransis Street! Those shops are very posh!

In the afternoon a guy came in the shop to present the new brochure of his company!

Hi everybody

I started the day by a delivery in a shop and the rest of the day I was with Ciara and we did selection of wallpapers and fabrics for customers and we checked the discontinued books!

Hi everybody

Today I started the day by answering a call!

After I went with John to a customers house to repair the floor and she was a designer! Her house is lovely!
Moreover we went to another customer house and talked with the lady.

Back to the shop I did the shop window with Ciara! it was very interesting and pink!

I continued my report and when Niamh arrived we went to distribute flyers in Adelaide Road.
In the same time we went to a shop to recover a book in a shop! And the customer asked to them to find different wallpapers, what we did in the shop before the end of the day.

Hi everybody

Today was a day outside! Indeed John left me in a customer house with Louise to start to sanding, repair with wood filler and paint a table damaged by a dog!
It was really good and pleasant!

Back to the shop at five o'clock I went with John to Buckley Galleries to see what they have for the auction of Thursday!

Hi everybody

Today a lady, a representative came in the shop to present us the new Manuel Canovas and Larsen books! It was very interesting!

On the afternoon Louise and I had a different job: we had to learn how paint a marbling effect!

Moreover Ciara learned me several important stuff in a shop same as do a quotation, ect... I like it, it's good for my skills!

Monday 17th June of 2013

Hi everybody

Today I started my summary for school! So John and Ciara help me!

Moreover I used the paper shredder.

After that with John we went to do a delivery in a customer house, a long way but interesting!

In the shop I sent emails: one in English to know if the company has in stock several floors and the other in French for a French company to know if they have in stock similar fabrics as those discontinued.

Later the same customer as yesterday came in the shop because she chose a fabric for her dining room. I liked to talk with her.

No I can take notes easier when John talked to me!

Hi everybody

Today I started the day on my own and I answered to two calls.

When Ciara arrived she asked me to find a fabric for a customer!

Later I put the second coat of paint on the stool. Now I get used to paint and I enjoy it.

When John arrived we went together to a carpet supplier. It was very interesting!

In the same time we saw a exhibition of National Lighting!

Back to the shop in the afternoon a customer came, to find a fabric and she's very nice we talked a long time. At the end she borrowed several books.

I finished my day by put varnish in the stool and check if several book are discontinued.

Thursday 13th of June 2013

Hi everybody

Today I started the day by searching for some poster beds on Internet and I sent the links to John in order to find something modern for the customer.

I finished my work with the paper shredder! And I checked if some carpets were discontinued.

Ciara asked me to find fabrics for a customer. It was red fabrics and now I am used to the shop so it was fast.

Moreover today I went with Niamh to the customers house to put varnish on the blue table, it's the last step!

Later the stools came back! They are repaired and I painted one in green blue and just finished repairing the other.

But today was not my best day... Indeed I spilled a purple pot of paint. So there is purple paint everywhere in the backroom, I was so embarrassed! Now my colleagues think that I killed Barney in the backroom!

Hi everybody

Today we finished painting the blue table! So I went to the customers house to paint the details.
In the shop I finished the wallpaper code and made a list.

I was satisfied of this job and I'd like to see it used!
Moreover today I used the paper shredder in order to keep confidential a lot of paper. I benefited from this time to tidy!

Hi everybody

Today with Louise we continued the work on the table!
And we put two coats! It was really pleasant to do this job!

On the afternoon Louise created an article for a blog: "Vintage Wednesday"! 

Personally, I reorganized the wallpaper books to make the research for customers easier. For example, if a customer asked a wallpaper with stripes we just have to check the books with a light blue stickers. I think it's useful!

Hi everybody

Today, with John and Louise, we went to a customer house to repair and paint a table!

So the first step is use sandpaper on this table, and it's hard so we used an electronic system.

It was hard and long but I shared the work with Louise, and we succeeded very well. After we put knotting to repair the table! And it needs two coats, with one hour between the two coats.

Back in the shop, a customer was in with Ciara and I helped her to find a colorful wallpaper for the lady!
Later Ciara charged us to reorganize wallpaper books. Indeed we did a list to make the research easier with the customers!

Hi everybody

Today Louise was here and for the first time she did the shop window. As I have already done several times, Ciara asked me to supervise and to assist Louise. But she had got many ideas and I liked very much the fabrics, funitures and wallpapers that she choose.
It was grand because it's an exercice that I enjoy!

Moreover we arranged and moved all the furniture in the shop to make it more attractive and comfortable. It was a success!
The afternoon exercise was totally different. Indeed we distributed flyers to houses which are apt to need our services. Another prospecting exercise that I enjoyed and the sun helped us during our walking to the houses!

Hi everybody

Today I was on my own in the shop because John and Ciara were at a talk.
So Ciara gave me a list of tasks to do. Indeed I had to do research for customers like kitchen top in glass and a poster bed.
It was interesting and I like try to do a great job for customer.

Moreover during this time I answered to callings of customers, which is more difficult but a excellent exercise of concentration.

At the lunch time a customer, who rang before, came in the shop to give us a new job which is repair two lamp shape.

I liked to talk with her and it forces me to pay attention a lot when a customer is speaking.
